I'm messing around with my processor's frequency and voltage. I just obtained a new cooling system. I was able to OC my voltage and frequency from 2.8Ghz/800 to 3.01/919 by increasing the voltage to allow the clock. Since I was at stock cooling the system was unstable and my temp readings were very high. Now when I do it, my machine shows the 'System' (not SIP) process at about 50-80 percent. This only occurs when I step up the CPU voltage. This also occurs at lower clocks that are higher than stock. If I revert to stock settings it acts fine. The machine does not lock up and idle temp under load is about 54-60. Any ideas how to fix that process (aside from turning off the OC)?

Thanks guys.

Congratulations - you have managed to overclock you system a whopping 10%.

You will probably only realize 2% - 5% in the real world. Just set it back to stock settings.

WILL POST FOR FOOD.
