i am trying to overclock my cpu. I go into the bios but i see no options for adjusting values and settings?? Is my cpu locked, or is there someting i am missing??

So do you have the MSI 865PE or 865GV motherboard? I dont see any MSI MS-7187 on MSI's website.. Did you build that computer yourself of bought it from a company like Dell/Compaq/HP/Sony/Gateway/Emachine... etc? If so, the only way to overclock would be using software. But without adding voltage and locking the AGP/PCI and slow down RAM timing as you overclock, your result will not be pleasent like 5% max overclock...

it is a medion system i guess. i picked it up at futureshop like 6 months ago

umm i thought i read somewhere that someone had oc'ed it to a 3.1 from a 2.8, now i am not sure but being a dual cpu, wouldnt that make it like a 6.2???? or am i wrong
