O/C on ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
I've got a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb now, and was wondering how much can I overclock it by? I've got it overclocked by 30mhz (411core/365memory, default was 378/337.5) can I go any further?

If I do have to replace the stock fan to get better results, what do you suggest? I've been having a look at this fan.

You could probably go higher but keep an eye on the temperature. Also, that fan is great! it runs almost silent and cools greatly!

I just ordered the silencer yesterday. Hopefully I can now overclock the core even further, 420-430. By they way, I've got a 9800np, you should be able to get a little higher if you have pro.

And I don't think there is anyway to check temperatures of the GPU on 9800np's, and pros. R350 and R360 cores don't have temp sensors.

I used that on my AIW 9800 Pro, and the most I could get it too (ATI tool wise) was 390/373. I was a little disappointed in the core results, but not all work the same, so what are you going to do...?

My card is a Radeon 9800Pro but doesn't have a temperature probe (that I can see anyway), so I can't tell if my O/C is damaging by GPU with high temps.

To apu: Are you going to buy Memory Heatsinks as well? I've heard they are needed?

I'll probably one the cooler in a few weeks or so.

Jesus, they o/c'd the Memory by about 50% of its original clock.
Yeah that Zalman heatsink/fan for the GPU looks promising.

Thanks for that mate.
