When it says locked, it means locked. You can highlight it, change, save, boot and it still says 2.0 right? I have the same problem with my Cel. 1.7

Best way to overclock is buy a board that allows you tp up the FSB in bios, or else software overclocking, that gets reset as soon as your restart.

1) P4 Celeron 2.0 would go to 150 FSB @ 3GHZ, I have tried it. However, you will have to increase the Vcore voltage. At default voltage of 1.525, I was able to get it to run @ 2.5 GHZ.

2) GhOsT-Fir3 is correct regarding Mobo that allows FSB increase. You also need Mobo with Vcore adjustment, and memory voltage and divider. As you overlock FSB, AGP, PCI and memory speed increase accordingly.

3) P4 multiplier is locked and cannot not be changed.

Hope this may help.
