I have a ASUS A7V266-C, AMD XP 2400+, 512MB DDR ram, Thermaltake Volcano 11 cpu fan and 3 case fans. I'm having trouble in overcloking past 2.2Ghz. In my ASUS Probe it says under processor max speed 2200MHZ is that all I'm going to get out of it? IF yes what do I need to do to change that? new cpu, motherboard.

i have had an XP 2400 for just on 2 years. i know how far it can go. i know that it can survive raising to a 333 FSB instead of its 266 origin. and i have had it running months on end at 2250mhz, however dont run it at this all the time unless you have sufficient cooling. to get this speed you'll have to have the cpu running at a voltage of 1.8, no less, no matter how much i have tried, i cant get any higher speed to run stable, but seriosly, thats pretty good, it works out to perform just under the standards of a 2800+
