i o/c my amd 1800 (1.5Ghz) k7vt2 mboard to 1.6 was running fine for weeks, now all of a sudden wont boot up no bios no nothing. If i try my cpu on another mboard and it is dead, will it damage the other board ?

I assume "all of a sudden wont boot up no bios no nothing", means the motherboard did not make any "beep" sound, the fans were not running, the monitor was black, the fan in the power supply was not turning....etc.
If you care to give more detail, perhaps other could help.

the fans run, several more beeps than usual no power to monitor, floppy and cd power up, hard drive light comes on then goes then just fan running, then three more beeps. was trying to step up bit by bit as mboard has protection, a screensaver was running when a runtime error occured, no task manager not even soft boot, so restarted then this, but will i damage another mboard to see if its my cpu, ?
