The CPU *may* be able to overclock that high, but it ain't gonna happen with that motherboard.

What speed RAM do you have...DDR2-800?

I have no idea what options are available in your BIOS, but if you wanna attempt to run your CPU at 3.0GHz, here's what you'll have to do:

- lower the memory setting to DDR533
- lower the CPU multi to 10x
- lower the HT multi to 3x
- lock the PCI-e bus at 100MHz
- lock the PCI bus at 33MHz
- disable Cool 'n Quiet
- disable all Spread Spectrum settings
- raise the CPU frequency from 200MHz to 300MHz in increments...do NOT do it all at once. You *may* have to increase the CPU voltage to enable & stabilize the overclock.

"How do i disable all spread spectrum settings?"

Like I said, "I have no idea what options are available in your BIOS". If it's not there, don't worry about it.

"iam using is ddr2 667"

That kinda throws a wrench in the works. You'll have to set the RAM to DDR400 then...hopefully that's an option?
