I'm begining to wonder if buying this card was the best idea. Anyway, I have already overclocked it some, but I was just wondering how far would be safe?

As far as you can go until you see artifacts on screen when you play games or crashed in games in 1 hour +... Then decrease the core/memory... Even my stock fx5200 128bit 250/400 default and i o/c to 276/515.. Anything higher will get me artifacts... So start from there..

Asus A7V classic rev 1.05
Athlon XP 2100+ @ 129x17 = 2195Mhz 1.81v
768MB PC133 RAM @ 129Mhz 2-2-2
40GB 540RPM + 120GB 7200RPM HD
128MB Geforce FX5200 128bit 276/515

Right now I'm at 340 / 450. When I run the test, I get an error message saying that the system cannot run it.

What method are you using to overclock?

Artifacts = weird colors/lines on screen. I.e when you play games, the grass should be green and it display it as black or screen flicker like crazy or maybe black squares on the whole screen.... When you run the test, you get error message you cannot run it, then you need to lower down ur frequency... I'm using "coolbits" to overclock...
