Hello, I just upgraded from 512mb of geil pc3200 to mushkin 3500 1gb lvl2. as soon as i installed it i get a long beep, so reseted cmos and still getiing the same results on my Abit NF7-S ver.2 anyone hane any suggestions?

The late Abit boards (AMD and Intel) will give a LONG beep when the BIOS setting is out of "specs". Are you able to get into BIOS? And, are you overclocking?
I normally power down and unplug the PS for a minute and re-power it back to get into BIOS to see what'd screwed up. However, you "may" have bad memory. See what would happen if you put the PC3200 back.

the same results i will overclock as soon as i get it to boot but when i had my 512 p3200 i had them set to stock cuz it wouldnt be stable under prime 95. I am upgrading to pc3500

Does it boot into Windows after you switch back using PC3200? And, did the long beep go away?
