i have a gateway gp p3 664 mhz i need more speed but i cant fry the processor because ill be computerless and i cant buy another processor because im poor i just need it to 800mhz or is it not possible?

To get only 136 more mhz would not even be noticeable to you, so I wouldn't try if there was a chance it would fry your processor.

Why do you "need" 800MHz? And putting "uuuuh..." for CPU/RAM isn't gonna get people to help...it just makes you look stupid

Most Gateway PC's of that vintage quite often used MoBo's with unfriendly BIOSes so it may be easier to buy a Used PC Base Unit.

If I only had 664Mhz clock, I would "need more speed". :-)

My question is how much RAM does this "47" have???

i have 288mb of ram and i just need this amount of speed for a game it wants 800mhz and i only have 664 and when i play it its way slow
