Hi,

I just got me new parts for my pc;

Athlon64 3700+ San Diego
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
2x1GB OCZ Gold PC4000...

Now they're working fine in stock mode, but i want to get some more out of my CPU&mem...
Now i never OCed with A64 before so i want to do it safe nd easy...
My previous setup was a aXP, so there're a lot of new options in the BIOS for me..

Now i know HTT is the same as FSB, and it's best CPU&RAM run at same MHz, right..?
And since i got PC4000 will i be able to get the HTT as high as 250MHz?
Also, is a 3700+'s multiplier unlocked or not?

So are there any other options i need to know about? MayB someone knowes a site where a lot of options are being explained?

Oh, one more thing: what is a safe temp for my 3700+? and at what should i get worried..?

Any replies would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance.

You need to do some reading. Overclocking an A64 is nothing like overclocking an AthlonXP. The A64 doesn't have a FSB, the memory controller is integrated into the CPU. The CPU freq & RAM freq do not have to be the same...if you can do it, great, but it's not a requirement.

Here's several sites I have bookmarked:

There is no "sinc" because there is no FSB. Read the links...hopefully it will be explained
