Reply: (edit)It sounds like your heatsink and fan are not mounted correctly. Make sure you use a very thin layer of silicon grease or thermal paste and just enough to cover the cpu die. Latch the first hook then hold the heatsink LEVEL and set it down EVENLY. Then latch the second hook. Also make sure the heatsink isn't on backwards. There is a lip that allows for the inset of the plastic socket. If it is postioned backwards your heatsink will not sit flat on the cpu die. This is the beginning of your troubleshooting process. If this doesn't work or was never an issue, I would try the cpu on another board or try a different cpu in your board. Good luck.

Reply: (edit)Duron 'Morgan' CPUs (all beyond 1Ghz.) have a core voltage of 1.75Volts. Theoretically it can work with temps up to 90ºC. Check the voltages on your BIOS to see if they are in 'proper ranges' (no more than a 5% deviation), if they are try your processor in another M.B. to see if you have a faulty processor, if not, maybe you need a new PSU, but try the processor in another MB. anyway. Hope this helps.
