Looking to buy a new processor for gaming. I have a MSI (Micro Star) N1996 OEM (HP-Argon) Motherboard, on XP 32-bit. I tried searching online but couldn't find somewhere to look for a compatible CPU so i come for help.

*Side questions: Is it wise to replace a processor without a motherboard? i've read you should just replace them both if you're going to replace the CPU but was wondering if this was really neccesary. Also, is installation real simple like RAM where you just put it in and it works? or is there more to it. Ty

For decent gaming, you need the right combination of CPU, RAM & video card. It's difficult to give any advice when you don't bother to list your system specs.
