Hi i have a celeron 566 MHz cpu with bus speed of 66MHz and i want to know if it can be overclocked ? and if so, can anyone pls guide me how to overclock it for maximum performance in BIOS setting pls.i am a real novice in this topic.appreciate ur suggestions.

Jeff, I think you got it what we need. If it's a Celeron I think it'll work also at 100MHz FSB. That would make 850MHz for the cpu.
But I doubt you can change it in the bios. If there is an option that allows to to change the FSB from 66 to 100MHz it's fine. If not you have to change the right jumpers on the board (check the manual - if you don't have it download it on the net).
If there are no jumpers or bios setting then sorry but that's bad luck!
For the multiplier of a K6 (Cerlerons have fixed multipliers that can't be changed) there are also jumpers on the board!
