I have KT3 Ultra 2 MB and xp 1800+.
How much can i overclock? I'm kind of new to this, what shall i set multipler voltage and FSB(or what the other one is called) to?
Anyone got a stable config?

the best thing to do is to adjust the FSB in small increments and run the computer until you find it starting to become unstable. if you change it too much it wont boot at all. then just clear the CMOS and try again. dont adjust the power levels too much or that can fry the processor and mobo. be carefull and good luck...

same board and the xp1900, and another person just posted about the same board and a 1900 or 1800 also... it appears we cant really go over 140(ish) and still run stable...this isn't really much of an overclock but it is possible....
in any case, to get substantial performance gain u need to unlock the CPU, which I plan on doing soon, I'll keep u guys posted...

Thanks. Actually: "I have": I got FSB to 149 and it has been stable for 15 hours running warcraft III 4 hours of those. :)
It got unstable at around 133 or so. So I increased voltage to 1.85 and then I could go further. Does lowering multipler making it possible to increase FSB or is it kind of undependant of multipler?

I am running a 1800xp+ with ddr333's and I am can run at 1.74 ghz thats 12.0 X 149 stable once in a while my comp fails but that is a MS problem not an asus one :D:D btw my mobo is a asus a7v333 :D:D: I LOVE IT
WATCH THE VOLTAGE if u can keep it jumper free for ur cpu and voltage, u will fry

I'm currently running an MSI KT3 Ultra2 with an Xp 1800+, and it's been running stable at between 1.74-1.76 internal core voltage, running with an unlocked multiplier of 11.5 and a FSB speed of 149. It's giving me processor speed of 1706mhz (1.66ghz).. I'm happy with it. It's running perfectly stable, has been for days, with a max CPU temperature (under heavy load) of 56 degrees celcius. When I have some more time, I plan on doing some tweaking to it and seeing just how far I can push my processor before it gets unstable. Before I do that, I'm going to be adding some serious cooling to my case.
