Comment: I have a 2400+ athlon XP, 512 mb ram But in the control panel and system tab it says i only have AMD Athlon XP 1800+ running at 1.49ghz how can i make it run at 2400 as it should.my motherboard is a M7S5A PRO.

i formated the hd same no sound when i got to control panel and when i click sound and video nathing is there cand do nathind so pl what could it be is it dead or maybe i cna do something else to fix this prob so help pllllllllllllllll

Reply: (edit)FSB is set to 100 either with jumper or bios.
Set it to 133.
100 x 15 = 1.5Ghz
133 x 15 = 2Ghz.
