You cannot change the multiplier of a p4. The only way to overclock it is to change the front side bus /cpu frequency. It should be in the BIOS.

I have the Asus P4S533mx board and the bios rev is 1006. This allows me to set the CPU to manual then fsb can be changed.
Go to AsusTek home page scroll down and click on your board and follow directions to update bios.

Go here
http://www.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4S533-VM

Looks like your board will go up to rev 1010.

Asus is also an OEM supplier to Dell, HP and Compaq.

For warranty and liabibility reasons, OEM PCs' do not have overclocking features. BIOS upgrade must come from Sony. You would not be able to get update from Asus.

real_cool, YOU are right. After re-reading post I see that he has a vx board and not a vm. Asus site does not list the vx, just the mx, and vm.
My mistake, SORRY.
