Model/Manufacturer: dell inspiron 9400
Comment:
i downloded lostplanet it is the direcyorx 9 versern and when i start the the game an erro message

"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_33.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem."

i tryed reinstalling the demo but the same message came up again does any one no how to solve this problem?

Download d3dx9_33.zip, then extract the d3dx9_33.dll file & place it into your computer's "System32" (C:\Windows\System32) directory & try the game again.

I see your "Oil PC" post has been deleted, along with many responses to your other posts.

I had suggested peanut oil, but if you read the label on the bottle of oil used in the video, it's "100% reines pflanzenol"...in other words, 100% pure vegetable oil (it's in German).

Here's the article that goes with the video. If you read the entire thing, you'll find that although they used vegetable oil, they recommend using motor oil instead:
