Hello, if someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to overclock this rig with no luck:
XP2600+ (333 fsb) Asus a7n8x deluxe motherboard 2 sticks 256mb dual channel ddr400 samsung memory radeon 97000 Pro tornado cpu fan and 13 other fans
Temperature is not a problem, full load set at: internal clock 2.08 Ghz system bus 334.09 system clock 167.05 multiplier at 12.5 gives a max temperature of 35C for the cpu and 30c for the motherboard.
If anyone can give me a hand or has any numbers that are known to work, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

13 other fans??? Do you have a fan fetish or something? What is the ambient tempreture? When you change something, are you going in small steps, or are you just making huge jumps, eg. going from 166fsb to 200fsb in one go?

start moving your fsb up from 166 1 or 2 at a time reboot and see if it runs error free . just keep inching up til u get a error and then back it off afew. try for 210 or so.thats what i have my 2600 with a asus board set at.
good luck
