my processor reach 100% very fast

Specs: Windows vista, e8200/2gb
i have intel e8200 processor, mob intel dg33fb
and 2gb transcend ram, run on window vista
my pc was working fine.
but 2days before i had change my bios setting
of ram with wrong ratio which leads to my pc
stop and even doesn't boot,
thereafter i unplug jumper and set my ram
configuration to automatic and plug the

but what whappen is that my pc processor
reach 100% very often and very fast.
even u open my computer it reach 70% and
after get not responding.
my windows was installed 15 days before.
i had tried all possible bios setting
configuration but doesnt show any change.
my bios also show 2.0ghz instead of 2.66ghz.

i there is any way to increase my 2.0 to

is this affect or my bios setthing affecting to
slow down.

can anyone solved my pc problems.

Your CPU *should* be run at 8 x 333MHz (1333MHz FSB) with the RAM running in sync at 1:1 ratio. That means you should either have DDR2-667 or if you have faster RAM, it should be manually configured to run as DDR2-667.

If your CPU is only running at 2.0GHz, it's *probably* because SpeedStep is kicking in & lowering the CPU speed. If you want the CPU to run at full speed at all times, disable SpeedStep (aka EIST). Read your manual.

its funny, my guages say i am between 33-55 cpu with only 15% ram. mac book pro. i have not changed anything; not an answer just a comment on the intel formula for processor relative to ram answer

if u say that ur cpu uses only 30-35% and ram only 15% than it really good.
pls send me the bios setthing in details as my system getthing crash and cpu uses over 50-100% and ram 38% of 4 gb ddr2-800.

yesterday i upgrade to 4 gb i got the good result in regards to performance but my cpu is over responding.

please do for me
