Comment: My harddrive is experencing shocks sometime. when its working fine it suddenly and quickly stops and tries to start again with a clicking sound and then computer halts. is there a power supply going out or its the harddrive promblem. my Quantum fireball is 5 years old. Infact the whole system is now 5 years old. Agent611

Reply: (edit)Yes the click of death......the equivalent to being told you have terminal cancer. Best advice get your affairs in order because that drive is heading south. Five years is the life span of many drives anyway. I replace my main drive every two years or so, just to be safe. Sorry Pal...its time to suck it up and buy a drive....you might get a new power supply too. I would do it ASAP too. Good Luck.
