Well my cpu will not boot up. I have gotten into windows on a few occassions. Cause it had told me my cmos battery was low. Now I have changed that, and it seemed to work at first. I did a proper shut down. But again it keeps getting caught and not booting up. I set it back to factory settings. Which is 433mhz pentium three. I do it by hitting f2 and that seems to work. I am not sure what to do. And am really frustrated with my cpu. So what else could be the problem?

The CPU is the chip that goes in the motherboard.
When you removed & replaced the battery, you cleared all the BIOS settings...did you correct them all?

"I was not aware on how to clear my settings"
If you removed the battery, chances are very good that you cleared the BIOS settings. The whole purpose of the battery is to maintain the settings when the computer is shutdown or unplugged.
"And am not even sure how to correct them back"
Generally, hitting the DEL key during bootup brings up the BIOS menu

Yes, I set it back then. Cause I did go back into bios. Cause it had said hit f2 and return it to factory settings. And that is what it did. It makes it into a 433mhz pentium three. I put it back to 866mhz through bios. And set back to reading off of my agp graphics card. As I have gotten a new one recently. And had many problems with it too. But now my cpu will not boot up at all. The machine goes through the motions but the screen is blank. But it does not make the beep and then starts to load in front of your eyes on the screen.
