OS: Win XP Home
CPU/Ram: 2.80 Ghz/1.18GB of RAM
Model/Manufacturer: Toshiba Equim A60-155

As title say's and because of this my laptop keeps switchin off I have ran msconfig and on start-up tab have unchecked all the progs I dont use. But when I run windows task manager there are all these running. Help I don't know what to do.

Try this & see if it may help you
disable the ssdp discovery service this will stop the 100 % cpu usage, go to computer right click ,left click on manage,the computer management consol,comes up ,expand the services ,,go to the right hand pane scroll down to th ssdp discovery service and right click,go to properties then stop the servivce then disable it reboot you'll be all set

I used your fix and it worked great, I am a little concerned about the the suspension of the UpNp service and the Media Center Extender Services hopefully I won't need them later.
