My ACER TravelMate 6292 won't start up

Acer Travelmate 6292-6856 notebook
December 9, 2010 at 21:59:39
Specs: Macintosh
When I power it on - it will start - the fan comes on and the screen has a white background with a a large ACER logo in the center and a small Intel logo to the bottom right.... but this is where it stays and never does anything else.... this screen usually pops up for a second at most and then goes to the black restore screen and then to windows... but that is no longer happening... I've tried removing the battery and the power cord and holding down the "ON/OFF" power button for 30 seconds and for 3 minutes - and then plugging the power cord back in and trying to power it on but the exact same thing happens.... this laptop has been in perfect working order for the last year - and nothing has happened to it to physically damage it.... any suggestions or solutions out there? Thanks in advance!!!

U need to see what happens in post screen, enter bios and disable that logo or quick boot or similar.

So far I cannot seem to get into BIOS or to disable the logo page - immediately from start up it goes to that ACER page before it starts anything else - any attempt to press F8 or even ALT+F10 to restore the system does absolutely nothing.... any other suggestions?
