Hello. I would like to experiment with my memory and looked into the Webopedia but it didn't really help much. I have Mushlin PC3200, original settings are 2.5-3-3-8. Right now I have it at 2-3-3-8. I've also had it at 2.5-3-3-7, 2.5-3-3-6. I've never changed the middle timings and was trying to find out what they do before I mess with them. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Is this your ram? If it is then I have the same as you, but I have not been able to reach a CAS of 2 (system wont boot). What is your Voltage? Mine is at 2.84 with timings of 2.5/3/3/7.

Hello Galileo. That is the memory that I have but I bought mine in a double pack. My voltage is 2.7 at 2-3-3-8. I can run in 2-3-3-7 and 6 but it runs alot better at 8. Really the only thing that is oc'ed in my system is the cpu and the highest that I had that was 2.5 but didn't like the vcore at 1.85 so I backed off a little. I'd almost swear that before when I tried the CAS 2 it didn't want to boot so I don't know what I've done since for it to boot now. It does run smoother now, so I can't complain.

Summary: "I now realize that the motherboard is 266 FSB with DDR333" I don't know where you got the idea your board doesn't support 166mhz(333FSB)? The Shuttle website says that the AK38/N supports 333FSB & li...
