I have been having a problem with my new MSI K7N2 Mainboard, Im using a amd2400+ cpu. When the FSB is on 100Mhz then i stays stable longer. When i turn it up to 133Mhz to get my full 2.0Ghz, then it just turns off after a few seconds.
I'Ve done a bios update with the latest BIOS version and it didnt change much. I read about a AUTOMATIC OVERHEATING SHUTDOWN DIOD, i think thats the problem, but my CPU only gets up to 45°C MAX. I've looked everywhere in BIOS where i could change the Value of this, maybe its set to low and thats why it shuts down. What other settings would make the PC just turn off suddenly??
Please help me someone, this PC is driving me crazy, im about to break it. hehe

the first thing I would check would be the RAM what type do you have....those boards are famous for being very picky what type of RAM they use.

Yeah try messing around with some of the ram settings like the speed and timimgs. i got alot of ram to work that wouldn't even post by doing that.
