which motherboard should i buy to get my Q9650 run @ 4 ghz
without any stability problems
by the way no need for dual gpu im gonna use single gpu
can be either ddr2 or ddr3

Which board do you have now? And which RAM? You mentioned "ddr2 or ddr3", is that for the board or the video card? You need to be more clear about what you're asking. Do you have a power supply that can handle what you have planned? You're going to need a heck of a good board to get that CPU to run at 4.0GHz. You'll need one that's capable of 445MHz frequency (1780MHz FSB). You may be able to use DDR2-800 & just overclock it to 445MHz, but it might be better to get DDR2-1066 & underclock it. The only benefit to getting a board that supports DDR3 is that you should be able to use the RAM in your next build. DDR2's days are numbered & socket 775 CPUs are pretty much over & done.
