does the heat sink needed to keep the cpu cool use one of the same power sockets a convential case fan socket, i need to know becuase the mobo can support 3 fans
but is one of these for the heat sink?

i know this might vary from mobo to mobo
any help?
i need to know so i can buy x amount of fans

yes it does.

Fans with connectors for eith a mobo 3-pin power plug or a power supply 4-pin power plug give you the choice of where to plug it in.

good idea to plug it in on the board at "cpu fan"...so when you're looking at rpm's for your cpu, it will be reported correctly as such
