Monitor won't turn on during startup

Specs: Windows XP

I am in need of lotsa help. I have tried booting up my com numerous times. But there is simply no feedback to my monitor.

I have tried plugging the display cable to my laptop and it is working fine. So my guess is that it got to be something wrong with my CPU.

My CPU boots up normally like it usually do. Fan sounds, CD drives working properly. But, there is this orange light in company of a blue light when i boot up. Does that mean that my CPU is in standby mode which explains why my monitor does not receive any feedback from my CPU? Can anyone help me with this as this have not been the first occurrence.

THIS is a CPU, not THIS.

Your question has nothing to do with CPUs or overclocking. Try asking in the hardware forum.
