Reply: (edit)Weak / outdated / piece of crap mobo...lol. Didn't we go thru this? Where are you getting these temp readings from? A software program or the BIOS? The BIOS is the place to look. If anything, I would suspect that your temp readings are reversed...CPU is 65C & mobo is 45C. If that's the case, you still have a heat problem...probably caused by poor case ventilation. An unofficial rule of thumb is the board should be with 10C of room temp & the CPU (at idle) should be within 10C of the board temp. So if your room is 22C (approx 72F), your board should be 32C (or lower) & your CPU should be 42C (or lower) at idle. How many case cooling fans do you have & how are they arranged? Have you ever updated the BIOS on that old thing? Did you check to see if any BIOS updates are available & if any of them correct temp reporting errors? http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=1306&ProductName=GA-7VKML
