hi, i have a quick question im ruuning a IWILL k7s3 mother board currently and i wanted to know if i would see a perormance difference if i upgraded my motherboard to nforce chipset, and will i still be able to overclock with this motherboard?
i was thinkin this
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0169599or this
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0167910
tryin to save money also so i can get a little bit more ram so it would probaly be better if i got the cheaper 1.

Have ya tried Newegg.com? Their prices are lower than what you posted. Use the "Advanced Search" on the left side of the page...just select the nForce chipset you're interested in...leave the rest set to "Any":

And if you're willing to gamble, try these refurbished boards:

I got a refurbed ASUS A7N8X-X from Newegg for $30 (shipping included) & have had no probs with it....

I personally have never any any trouble with Newegg, & I've made a lot of purchases...they're one of THE most reputable resellers out there.
If you had a problem with them, would you mind explaining what happened?
Other than that, the ASUS board is good but expensive. I've read good things about the Shuttle though & it's a LOT cheaper. You could probably do better on the price, but it sounds like you've already made of your mind about where you're gonna buy from...I guess convenience offsets the added cost.
Read the reviews on the Shuttle:

0. Is your IWILL k7s3 not doing everything you it should right now?
1. What CPU do you have?
2. Can you provide your memory specs? From your IWILL k7s3's specs below:
- Support Socket462 AMD Athlon XP processor
- SiS 748 + 963L chipset
- 100MHz/133MHz/166-200MHz System Bus
- Supports DDR400/333/266/200 Memory module
- 3DIMMs support up to 3GB unbuffered memory
- SiS MuTIOL 1GB/s technology
- Ultra ATA 133/100/66/33
- One AGP8X/4X slot
- 5x PCI 32bit/33MHz slots
- Integrated Realtek ALC650 audio controller (6-channel audio)
- Supports 6 x USB2.0 port
- Adjustable Vcore
- BIOS: Phoenix BIOS
- Board size: ATX form factor
- Power Supply: ATX 12VI would advise against this pending upgrade unless there is some bottlenecking your PC is going through that you believe is solely caused by the SiS chipset, changing to an nForce2 mainboard is not going to turn your PC into a monster overnight.

Dont worry about Newegg. They are dirt cheap and have good service, and i just made my 1st buy off them last month. I spent $200 and everything works great.
If something dont work you can return it and they will replace it, and if it still doesnt then you can return it and sometimes they are nice enough depending on how much money you spent with them, that you can return it for free 100% money back^(-.-)~~~]>:}>

i am running a xp3000 wit 512 ddr 333 and the iwll is running fune, but i jus got a 9800 pro and im gettin a free 256 so ill have 728 or sumtin like that, so i have a little bit more to upgrade with and nforce just sounds fast...lol if u have better opinions try to make it something from www.microcenter.com
