((I use a Radeon 9100 in AGP slot))

I have 2 problems, only one of which I actually expect an answer to because it relates to this forum.
1.) While playing games I lock up (Only while playing games): Things I've tried: leaving top off to let heat dissipate, running big house fan on it while top off, switching out ram, switching out vid card with a FX5200 in PCI, tried using all the different PCI slots. That's about all I tried if my memory serves me.

2.) My Burner WAS working, now it fails to work for no reason: I can leave it as the Secondary Slave and it will have power, but not be detected, the 'busy signal' will constantly stay lit, and I can't open it either by force ejecting or by the button. And than I gave the Secondary Master Power, neither of them receive power. I've tried using the burner as Primary Master and Slave and seconday Master and Slave.

You guys got any ideas what's up with either of these problems, any suggestions are very much appreciated :) Thanks

I don't know what other devices you have...but your hard drive should be the primary master & your burner should be the secondary master.

a) The lockup when playing game may be from memory timing settings too high or low voltage.
b) Too many variables:
1. check jumper setting on the drive, i.e. secondary master or slave, primary slave.
2. Does your software recognize the drive in BIOS and Windows hardware setup.
3. Bad IDE cable from being pull too many times.
4. Drive does not work.
