i recently purchased a new mobo and cpu

but the load plate doesn't seem to go over the cpu neatly and i was wondering if i HAD to do have the loadplate. have a purchased the wrong mobo for the cpu???? please help

Poor motherboard choice considering others that are available, but the two are compatible. You MUST use the load plate. Here's how to install a S775 CPU:
