OS: Win 98
CPU/Ram: 1.333 Thunderbird/256 MB

Is there any place I can find out the hardware limits for Win operating systems....Like the min and max limits remcommended for the OS that would be used and recognised properly by that OS
Exaplme: ther was this game a friend of mine run a game on his 2.4 GHZ processor and the game only recognised 1 GHZ.......like is there a limit cuz the always mention minimun requirements but what about maximum requirements (if any)........Thanks

i have no recolection of any limits to windows (ONLY WIN 98SE had memory problems over 512mb and such) i think what ure supposed to be looking at is the motherboard... unless ure friend is using an outdated old operating system then just upgrade the os....and if he built the system then make shure the jumpers are correct on the mobo ..and windows is seeing the processor rite sumtimes my windows doesnt see my cpu speed correctly ....get the "processor frequency id utility" off the microsoft website and it will show u the correct clock speed of ure cpu... if its read 1GHZ on that program ...then i suggest upgrading ure OS (if its old) or looking at ure motherboard. hope this helps!!!

Win 98 didn't really use any ram properly over 192Mb's let alone 512.
