I have a Pentium 200 MHz MMX
processor. I am really eager to overclock
this ancient, but the problem is that I
don't know how to increase the multiplier
in the mobo. Can someone tell me how
and where to find it?

You can do it by changing the jumpers on the motherboard, or if the BIOS supports it, from the BIOS.

Don't forget cooling !!!

Okay, I don't know how to find out who made the motherboard, expect that the computer is OEM by Digital, now a retired company under the name of Compaq. Where are the jumpers? I am a very careful dude, especially with old computers like this one here.

Usually the jumper blocks are pretty obvious. There are banks of two connections about 3 mm apart that can be joined by a plastic covered bridge. Some computers have DIP switches, which are little boxes with little switches on them.

One of my motherboards (Tyan S1590) has the jumper charts right on the board. In many cases, you have to refer to the MOBO manual to determine how to jumper the board.

Some MOBOs are jumperless and the settings for multiplier and FSB are set in CMOS.
