I have a toshiba protege 7020ct with a p2 processor and i would like to know if this can be upgraded to a p3 and what upgrade company can do this kind of work?

Hi,

This would not be possible.

You would need a new motherboard, memory and everything else. Fans, graphics card etc. etc.

Not all of it would fit in the case even if you could find bits that would or could work together.

Almost without exception it is not possible to upgrade the CPU on a laptop. Some minor upgrades are possible from a processor of exactly the same family to a slightly ( note the word slightly ) faster processor.

Beyond adding memory or drives, very little can be done to upgrade most laptops. Some modular drives can be replaced but they are expensive. Som laptops have easily upgradable hard disks.

You would be better off looking for a used P3 laptop and as laptops spares are generally very expensive considering selling yours for spares.
