Is this normal? OS - XPSP1 , GA-7VAX , 256 DDR , AMD XP 1700+ , Maxtor 80Gb + Seagate 20Gb ......and the CPU TEMPERATURE IS 18c as idle (vulcano7+ , VCool soft).

Perhaps that vcool soft is prob a prog that truely puts the cpu into idle mode when it's not in use which means less power is used and less heat is produced. The real question is what is the temperature of your cpu under a full 100% load for a long period of time. (ie. a few hours of intensive use)

Yeah , my chipset is VIA KT400 and after 4-5 hours playing Unreal 2 (my son play it :) ) the CPU temperature is 32c , and when he stop to play ,after few seconds the temperature is again 18-20c. I put the Fan on 3200 RPM. I thin the "VCOOL" is real COOL.
