I'm sure you realize the non-necessity of running dual channel on a socket A system. And I see you're already at 209mhz w/PC3200. The RAM you sited is still only PC3200 & costs roughly $250/US. How much do you think you'll actually gain? Is the cost worth it?

I need another 512mb,so rather than get another stick of something else I'm going to sell my stick to my friend(or not)and get a matching pair.

Kinda forward planning aswell incase I get something else thats utilises dual channel.

Plus,Money was made for spending.

"Money was made for spending"

Yes, but why spend it frivolously? You'd be better off getting cheaper PC3500, PC3700, PC4000.

I have no idea what PC3200 "overclocking RAM" is, but my guess would be it's just PC4000 with different info programmed into the EEPROM, then sold at a premium. I bet you could get a matching pair of "standard" PC4000 for a lot cheaper than this so-called overclocking RAM

i have been doing some reviews on that ram..

http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/components/memoryandaccessories/productView.htm?quicklinx=2X24

and the only difference between normal RAm is the special heatsink they have fitted to cool the chips also the LED's that aome of em have.
But u could buy some normal 3200Ram and then if u want to overclock that just buy some RAM Heat Spreaders, £10 each.

Personally, I run the cheapest crap I can find, provided it has a lifetime warranty. Do you have BestBuy or OfficeMax over there...or anything similar? How about CompUK? lol.

Too bad there's such a big discrepancy in the prices:

Best DDR for AMD overclocking are:
PQI and Gskill, both are available from Newegg and they are not that expensive. They use Samsung TCCD chip.
