That's about normal for a 1400+ palomino.

your date shows 10/12/2003.

how about some temps in the system tray.

My temp. is 28*C when I'm hardly doing anything as seen in the pic.

31-33*C Full load.

I am getting these temps with a $12.00 heat sink and fan from best buy!

I'm thinking the reson i can't overclock any farther is that I have a 100W. power supply.

I am runing two hard drives and two CD-rom drives.

Yes, it is really a 100W. power supply!

I do not believe your statement about the power supply.

The k7s5a temp sensors are:

1 - dud
2 - mobo
3 - cpu

your screenshot is showing 1 and 2 but you need 2 and 3 instead.

Oops... for some reson cpu fan did not have sensor 3 enabled by default. My temp is actualy 47*C doing nothing and 53*C full load. I looked at my power supply and it says 5V & 3.3V total to 100W max. it does not say how much 12V is. So it's proulbly around 200W total but that still isn't very much power.

Thanks Johnoh for telling me I was looking at the wrong sensor.

Do you think that temp. is to high?

I have one more thing to ask. What is the temp. 1 for? I have looked up and down my mobo for those little green temp. detectors and I can only find 2 of them. 1 for the cpu temp. (temp. 3) and one for the case temp. (temp. 2). What I am getting at is how does it come up with temp. 1, if there isn't a little green temp. detector for it? What's even more crazy is the temp. changes for sensor #1 without a sensor!!!

Sensor #1 on the k7s5a is a mystery. My understanding is that there is a sensor port however no actual sensor, so maybe it picks up stray voltages and they get turned into those weird temps you see.
