I saw this on PriceWatch.

PCChips M863 & Semp. 2700

PC Chips M863G MBoard With CPU AMD Sempron 2700+ - Socket A with cpu -333MHz BUS - USB - DDR - Audio W/HEATSINK & FAN - Complete Combo Kit (Sempron Replaces Discontinued Athlon XP)

I tried doing a search on the mobo but didn't learn much about it. Would like to have a good link to it. Also, does anyone have any comments about the 2700XP? Any Pros & Cons on the board and processor welcome.

TIA!

YOYO,

That's a crappy micro ATX board...is that really what you want?

As for the Sempron 2700+, there's nothing listed at the AMD website. If it does in fact exist, it would run between 1833mhz (2600+) & 2000mhz (2800+)...probably at 1917mhz (11.5 x 166mhz). Look into the 2700+ Sempron before doing anything, because as far as I can tell, there is no such animal.

Why not have a look at these deals instead:

Jam,

Personally I believe it's a 2700 XP. Do they run hot? Seems like I read some complaints about it, but can't remember. Hmmm!!!

2700+ (tbred) runs at 2167Mhz (13 x 166Mhz) @ 1.65v.

"Do they run hot?" - probably no hotter than any other tbred. I don't think you need to take extreme cooling measures if that's what you're getting at
