The A64 doesn't have a FSB. You don't HAVE to run the CPU & RAM at the same frequency...if you can do it, fine, but it's not an absolute necessity.
And why would you limit your "FSB" to just 240MHz with PC4000 RAM anyway? The RAM is designed to run at 250MHz & can go higher than that, so you should be thinking at least 250MHz at 1:1. The 3700+ should easily overclock to 2.75GHz (11 x 250MHz) with little or no temp increase & it *may* not even require a voltage increase (you won't know until you try).
What is the CL rating of this PC4000? The PC3200 you posted about early is CL2 with timings of 2-2-2-6, if the PC4000 is CL3 plus considerably more expensive, it's probably not worth it. However, it's it's CL2.5 & there's only a slight price difference, it *might* be worth considering.

That RAM costs $25 more, has worse timings, & runs at 2.8v. Check the manual to see if your BIOS even supports 2.8v.
