I got an AMD K6-2 500 MHZ running at 550.Is there anyway I can unlock my processor to get a higher multiplier?
As far as I know: NO. I have never seen a socket 7 cpu that could be unlocked. No exposed bridges, like on socket A.

Multiplier is a MoBo function on super socket-7s. Most only go to 5.5x. Sometimes the 2x will be seen as 6x, but that's probably too much for the K6-2 500. Does your bios or board have incremental FSB adjustments beyond 100mhz? (not very common)
