I got an AMD K6-2 500 MHZ running at 550.Is there anyway I can unlock my processor to get a higher multiplier?

As far as I know: NO. I have never seen a socket 7 cpu that could be unlocked. No exposed bridges, like on socket A.

The multiplier on that CPU is not locked.

Lol Bradshaw, Are you dumb its called Brijing that eneables you to unlock the proc, anyways i beleive it isnt locked like badboy said because its n older CPU Think they started that with 800's

Multiplier is a MoBo function on super socket-7s. Most only go to 5.5x. Sometimes the 2x will be seen as 6x, but that's probably too much for the K6-2 500. Does your bios or board have incremental FSB adjustments beyond 100mhz? (not very common)
