When i play [HEAVY-DUTY] games on my computer, my CPU Temp reaches about 57.0*C / 134.6*F ! Is this too high? I am using an ATI Radeon 9600 XT and my computer is able to handle just about anything. So i wanted to know if this temp is too high... And if it is, how can i prevent it from getting this high?

I DONT MAKE MISTAKES, I FIX YOURS...

are you using the stock HSF? if so replace it with Thermaltake 11+ & where are you checking the temps? bios or software? if bios make sure its up to date if software check it in bios to make sure its 57c ! also check your thermal paste is it too much or too less?

"Seriously."

Yup, front door open = 28°/52°/60°
air conditioner running = 24°/45°/53°

Case, idle and load temps go way down...a lot like they do in winter.

if temp is your room is normal and you got AMD Athlon then it's ok. I got Radeon 9800pro, after playing Far Cry it reaches 80C. It's ok
