i need a setup for photoshopping, video editing and gaming should i get either a
intel core 2 duo LGA775 Wolfdale @3.00 GHz overclocked to around 4 Ghz with Intel Cove iG35 775 Socket.
£190 (around) probs less.
or an
AMD Phenom X4 @2.3 Ghx overclocked to around 2.8 Ghz and a ASUS M3N78 PRO AM2

If you're gonna switch to an Intel system now, do NOT get an Intel board.
Intel chipset = yes, Intel board = no.
And choose a board with a newer chipset such as the P45. Pay attention to the southbridge chipset too...go for an ICH10. The board you chose has the ICH8 because it's an older board.
Any particular reason why you keep picking boards with integrated graphics?

this is about the same price as the intel but with all the stuff you reccomended..
