intel or AMD?

sounds like a repeating question, but i've always used intel, and never minded paying the extra price for the intel name. but i've always wanted to know which is best for performance - not price Intel Celeron D320 @ 2.4GHz w/ 256 L2 cache OR AMD Sempron 2200+ @ 1.5GHz w/ 256 L2 cache thanx all!

The AMD Sempron 2200+ is better then the Celeron D 2.4ghz in preformance.
