I've come accross a cpu labled " Intel Confidential QPGA ES MALAY 80557PH0674M- L617A959. Intel has no such listing on their website. What kind of cpu is this? Does anyone know?

It's also an 'ES', or Engineering Sample. It has an unlocked multiplier. The E6700 runs at 2.66GHz, which is 10x the FSB of 266MHz. You can alter the multiplier to overclock just the chip, leaving alone the memory, pci bus, etc.
