installed CPU-fan computer freezes!

helo i have inbstalled i new cpufan but my computer just frezzez after 30 seconds of use...
i have cecked that everthing is sitting very fine and it starts windows as noamrly but dies when i used it for 30 of 40 sec..

did you mess with the heatsink? is the fan on upside down? it might be an overheating problem

Sounds like either there's no thermal compound or it's inadiquate... or the heatsink may be on, but not laying flat against the core of your CPU.. I would check and ensure both are correct. Splice

you may have bought a heat sink that isnt compatible with your cpu remember u cant just buy any heatsink it has to say that it is compatible with your processor and its speed
