Installed CPU and PC Won't Boot

Hey, I really need help on this one. I recently swapped my HP's Celeron into my computer and the problem now is that my computer doesn't boot up. Power and everything is working but nothing on the screen, the bios doesn't even show. Do you guys know what the problem is?

The motherboard is an MSI 655 Max Series. I think it should support the celeron.

It should support a Celeron 1.7G or higher at 400/533 FSB. If your CPU meets this spec then it should work, check the CPU still works in another PC and your MB is still ok with another CPU if poss
