incorrect function

i have two writers,one is dvd ram and other is cd writer
i want to access both drives without this eror "incorrect function"when i insert blank cd/dvd disc
but with the help of recording option,this works in one of the drives dvd or cd
i want both the drives works properly without this error "incorrect function"
