3. ASRock is an offshoot of ASUS. They both make very good boards. The one you asked about isn't bad, but it is based on the older GF 7025 / nF 630a chipset combo & only supports HyperTransport 1.0 at 1000MHz. The ASRock 880GM-LE doesn't cost all that much more & it has better integrated graphics plus supports HyperTransport 3.0 at 2600MHz.
4. it's a single core budget CPU.
5. being that it's a single core CPU, it may not be suitable for newer games. However, it's a good overclocker & with the right motherboard, you may be able to unlock the 2nd core & turn it into a dual core X2 Regor. For what it's worth, it's better than any P4.
